Known limitations of the CSEI website:

  • Twitter follow button: background and foreground colors do not have a sufficient contrast ratio because we cannot change this as it is part of a plugin that runs on our site. We will continue to monitor alternatives that are more accessible to all users. Please use the site as normal. This issue is only present in the follow button for the Twitter plugin, which is not critical for site usability.
  • Site headings: Heading elements are not in a sequentially descending order due to a limitation within the WordPress theme that is used on the website. We are investigating alternative themes that are more customizable regarding accessibility needs. Please use the site as normal. If you experience any issues reach out to us and we will work to find a solution.
  • Links to our social media accounts in the footer of the website: Links do not have a discernible name. due to a limitation within the WordPress theme that is used on the website.
