The European Energy Policy Conference 2024, hosted by MIT CEEPR, EPRG Cambridge, CBS, and DTU was a landmark event that brought together leading experts from the US, UK, and Europe to discuss the future of the energy system. 

Hosted at the Ovnhallen building of CBS, the conference spanned two days and featured a diverse lineup of presenters such as Christopher R. Knittel (MIT), David Newbery (EPRG), Christine Brandstätt (CSEI), Richard Schmalensee (MIT), Lena Kitzing (DTU), Marie Münster (DTU), Henrik Sornn-Friese (CBS), Parantap Basu (Durham University), Kamiar Mohaddes (EPRG), Klaus-Dieter Borchardt (CBS), Lasse Heje Pedersen (CBS), Robert Ritz (EPRG), Catherine D. The conference featured six focused sessions:

  6. Reforming Electricity Markets for an Evolving Energy Landscape – Investigating how electricity markets can be reformed to support the evolving energy system.
