The POTENT-X project (Ports as Energy Transition Hubs) aims to transform European maritime ports into energy hubs by establishing Living Labs Networks across the Mediterranean, North Sea and Baltic regions. These networks enable collaboration between stakeholders and real-life testing of clean energy innovations. POTENT brings together energy and maritime experts and key stakeholders that will collaborate to: develop innovation ecosystems for renewable energy technologies and infrastructure in ports and the maritime sector, conduct comprehensive socio-economic analyses of the viability of energy transition solutions and business models, evaluate and proposed multilevel and multifaceted, governance frameworks, and create a global learning network of best-practices.
