Today marks the final day of a course on Energy Economics and Policy taught by CSEI’s Christine Brandstätt as part of CBS’ summer school. Master’s students from CBS and its partner universities got to learn about and discuss current issues in energy economics and policy. The course was built around three case studies: investments in offshore windfarms, offering flexibility services with electric heat pumps and supplying powerfuels to the shipping industry. It covers the relevant basic economic principles along with sector organization and the regulatory framework in the energy sector. We wish our students good luck with the exam and look forward to their future contributions within the energy industry.
